ESPN Bet Virginia Promo Code & Sportsbook App: September 2023

ESPN Bet Virginia will be one of the newest sports betting apps to hit Virginia once it launches. The sports betting app and site is a product of sports giant ESPN and gambling industry company PENN Entertainment. The platform is a rebrand from Barstool Sportsbook and is expected to combine ESPN's market-leading fantasy user database with PENN's sports betting platform and expertise, so keep an eye out for updates on the app and any potential Virginia sports betting promos

Is ESPN Bet Legal in Virginia?

No, ESPN Bet is not legal in Virginia yet. The sportsbook is in the process of being rebranded from Barstool Sportsbook Virginia. After that process has concluded, ESPN Bet Sportsbook should be live in several sports betting states, Virginia included.

And Barstool Sportsbook has already received a license from the Virginia Lottery, so going to market for ESPN Bet Virginia should be a relative breeze.

When Will ESPN Bet Launch in Virginia?

ESPN Bet should launch in Virginia by the fall, likely before Thanksgiving. At least, that's what PENN Entertainment CEO Jay Snowden said in terms of a launch date.

That should provide Virginia bettors with a brand new sportsbook leading up to the NFL games that take place on Thanksgiving. Until then, you can check out some other Virginia sports betting apps

ESPN Bet Virginia Sportsbook Legislation Timeline: September 2023

  • 📅 January 2021: Sports betting in Virginia officially launches, with FanDuel, DraftKings, BetMGM and BetRivers being among the first to go live.

  • 📅 April 2020: Sports Betting legislation SB 384 and HB 896 are signed into law.

What is the ESPN Bet Virginia Promo Code?

For now, the ESPN Bet Virginia Promo Code is TBD, as we don't know a ton about what is to be expected from the sportsbook just yet.

However, one speculation is that since ESPN Bet is being rebranded from Barstool Sportsbook, users could see something along the same lines as the $1K new user bonus. But as we said, that's entirely speculative, and there could be an entirely new ESPN Bet promo code for Virginia.

For now, there are plenty other Virginia sports betting promos available to bettors right now like the one from BetMGM Virginia

How to Claim the ESPN Bet Bonus Code in Virginia

When the sportsbook goes live, it's expected that the ESPN Bet bonus code could be fairly easy to claim in Virginia. That process could be as simple as signing up for an ESPN Bet account, and once verified, the offer may be available.

Again, that's a speculative answer until we have more information on the ESPN Bet Virginia promo code.

Who Can Redeem the ESPN Bet Promo?

Once ESPN Bet goes live in Virginia, anyone located within state lines who is also of legal sports betting age (21+) can claim the ESPN Bet promo.

Top Features That Will Be Available at ESPN Bet Virginia

While we aren't totally sure what ESPN Bet Virginia will offer in terms of features, we can assume that some features will be available based on the announcements from ESPN and PENN Entertainment.

    Top Class User Experience

The one feature that can be expected from ESPN Bet Virginia is that the sportsbook could provide a top-notch sports betting experience, given that the brand will operate on PENN Entertainment's market access and technology platform.

Additionally, ESPN's prowess as a sports giant and massive Fantasy user base should only double down on the top user experience and should provide a well-designed and easy-to-navigate platform for Virginia bettors.

    Online Casino

ESPN Bet is expected to feature an online casino in the few markets where online casino games are legal. Unfortunately, Virginia is not one of them.

As we know that ESPN Bet is expected to be a rebrand from Barstool Sportsbook, we can anticipate that the ESPN Bet platform could have an online casino built into the app.
