The famous SuperBook, a sports betting favorite in Las Vegas for decades in the Westgate Casino, has brought its sports betting brand to the Old Dominion as a mobile Virginia sports betting app.

SuperBook Sports went live in Virginia on Oct. 19, making the commonwealth the ninth state where SuperBook has an operational presence. Since 1986, SuperBook has been a respected and innovative go-to sports book in Vegas, and with the expansion of online sports betting throughout America, SuperBook Sports has been taking its brand online.

SuperBook Sports debuted as a digital sports wagering platform in Colorado in 2020 and, since then, has launched in Arizona, Iowa, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey, Ohio, Tennessee. Now the company offers Virginia sports betting.

SuperBook Expanding Brand To Virginia

This year, at about the same time SuperBook Sports was launching online, it was also establishing a SuperBook-branded sports bar-and-restaurant at Orioles Park at Camden Yards from which customers – surrounded by betting odds information and big-screen TVs – can place wagers on their mobile devices.

Jay Kornegay, Executive Vice President of Race & Sports Book Operations at SuperBook Sports, is a familiar figure in sports betting. He helped popularize the vast array of Super Bowl prop bets that have now become standard throughout the industry for the NFL’s championship game. Nowadays, no operator that offers Virginia sportsbook promos would let Super Bowl Sunday go by without offering them.

"Going live in Virginia is a perfect complement to our quickly growing business in Maryland,” Kornegay said in a news release. “With our heritage and the passion that fans bring in that area, it is sure to be a great fit. We pride ourselves on our expansive menu and will have great offerings for everything from the Commanders to the Ravens and the Nationals to our proud partners, the Orioles."

In Virginia, customers can download the SuperBook Sports app from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store by searching for SuperBook Sports Virginia. They can also download the app directly from va.SuperBook.com.

Now SuperBook is one of the sites where Virginia fans can track Washington Commanders Super Bowl odds.

"We couldn't be happier with our continued growth,” SuperBook Sports CEO and Managing Partner Mark Lipparelli said. “We are thrilled to be live in Virginia and feel confident that we have a great product with a strong history that will become a fast favorite of sports bettors in the region. Sports fans in the region can find all their favorite teams and get in the action with some of the best sports traditions in the country.”
